Bayern Munich reach an agreement with a new deal

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, a member of the supervisory board of Bayern Munich, the German soccer champion, confirmed today, Saturday, that his team will sign Portuguese defender Rafael Guerrero from the ranks of Borussia Dortmund.

“We have two good players now, Guerrero and Konrad Leimer,” Rummenigge said to the “Dazen” platform while attending the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan in Istanbul.

On Friday, Bayern Munich announced its contract with Leimer from the ranks of Leipzig, but it has not officially included Guerrero yet.

And press reports said this week that Bayern and Guerrero had reached a verbal agreement on the personal terms of the contract, which is scheduled to extend to three years, and that the player would undergo a mandatory medical examination before signing the contract.

Like Leimer, Guerrero will join Bayern Munich on a free transfer, after not renewing his contract with Dortmund, where he has played since 2016.
