Bayern Munich made its first offer to sign Moroccan Yassin Bono, the Seville goalkeeper, in the current summer transfer market, but the financial return does not meet the demands of the Andalusian club, according to a Spanish report.
And the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” (mundodeportivo) confirmed that Bayern – who has monopolized the German League championship for the last 11 seasons – requested a contract with Bono for 8 million euros, a figure far from the amount offered by Paris Saint-Germain to Seville (12 million euros), and the “Andalusian” club refused to discuss it from the ground up.
The Spanish newspaper indicated that Bayern Munich’s offer could rise to 12 million euros, with bonuses and incentives.

These numbers do not meet the desire of Seville, who wants to obtain at least 20 million euros in order to forfeit one of the best 3 goalkeepers in the world for the year 2022, according to the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA).
And “Mundo Deportivo” believes that Seville has managed this file very poorly since the beginning of the current summer transfer market, given the large financial demands for selling Bono, at a time when coach Jose Luis Mendelibar kept him on the bench in many matches since his arrival in the team in March 2023.
Other clubs also know how much Seville needed the money that prompted him to accept the idea of letting go of Bono, who played a prominent role in crowning his team the European League title for the seventh time (a record) after saving more than one penalty shootout in last season’s final against Roma.
The Seville club had excluded Bono and his compatriot Youssef Al-Nusairi from the team list that traveled last Friday to Germany, where the Andalusian club held the second period of preparation for the new football season 2023-2024.

Seville announced on its website that the decision was due to the team coach’s desire to give the players more time to regain their physical fitness, but “Mundo Deportivo” confirmed that the secret behind this decision was due to the club waiting for offers from teams wishing to include Bono and Al-Nusairi.
The newspaper expressed its surprise at this decision, especially after Mendelibar’s statements, in which he confirmed that the duo Bono and Al-Nusairi are “our players” as long as no official offers reached them and no agreement was reached for their transfer.
