Attorney: Providing incorrect Social Security information incurs a penalty

Lawyer Dr. Omar Al-Juhani said that providing incorrect information to social security requires punishment.

Al-Juhani added, in an intervention to the “My Lady” program broadcast on the Gulf Rotana channel, that this penalty includes a fine not exceeding 10 thousand riyals and imprisonment for a period of up to one year, according to the social security system.

The lawyer added that the punishment in that case includes those who make incorrect statements, whether male or female, and this includes the woman who makes statements alleging the continuation of her marital status as a divorcee after her marriage, and she is obligated to return the acquired right retroactively.
