Spain’s Atletico Madrid seized the top spot in Group E of the Champions League with a landslide victory over its Scottish guest, Celtic, 6-0, in the fourth round, which saw Italian Lazio defeat its Dutch guest, Feyenoord, 1-0.
Atletico rose to the top of Group Five, raising its score to 8 points.
Lazio comes in second place with 7 points, then Feyenoord in third place with 6 points, and Celtic comes in last place with one point.
At Civitas Metropolitano Stadium, the two international strikers, Frenchman Antoine Griezmann and Spaniard Alvaro Morata, played the starring role, each scoring two goals for Atletico.
Griezmann scored two goals in the 6th and 60th minutes, Morata scored two goals in the 45th and 76th minutes, and Samuel Leno and Saul Niguez scored the other two goals in the 66th and 85th minutes.
At the Olimpico Stadium, Ciro Immobile led his team Lazio to victory over Feyenoord with a goal he scored in the 45th minute.
