Yesterday, the Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, held a session of talks with the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ahmed Al-Safadi, in the framework of his current official visit to the Kingdom at the head of a delegation from the House of Representatives.
At the beginning of the session, the Speaker of the Shura Council welcomed the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament and his accompanying delegation, praising the depth of fraternal relations and the close ties that unite the two brotherly countries, stressing the importance of strengthening joint parliamentary cooperation, in a way that serves common interests and achieves the aspirations and future visions of the two brotherly countries.
For his part, the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament expressed, during the discussion session, his happiness at the warm reception, noting the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their destinations, and the great services the Kingdom provides to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, praising the achievements the Kingdom is witnessing in various fields.
During the talks session, a number of issues of common interest between the two countries were reviewed. In a way that contributes to achieving common interests; Especially with regard to parliamentary affairs between the Shura Council and the Jordanian Parliament, and the importance of increasing bilateral coordination between them at all levels.
The discussion session was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, and a number of members of the Shura Council, members of the Saudi-Jordanian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, and members of the Jordanian Parliament.
