Al-Ahly’s mission will leave Morocco this afternoon, Tuesday, via a private flight, in preparation for the Moroccan Raja match next Saturday, in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League, in the match during which the red team seeks to achieve a positive result that secures its rise to the semi-finals of the African Championship after Winning with two clean goals in the first leg in Cairo.
And the Al-Ahly coaching staff, led by Marcel Koller, preferred to travel to Morocco early in order to adapt to the atmosphere surrounding the team in Moroccan lands, from the weather, public and media pressures, increasing the players’ focus, and not preoccupying them with any external matters that make them lose their focus in this difficult match.
And Al-Ahly will perform its rehearsals in Morocco on Wednesdays and Thursdays on one of the private stadiums, provided that it will perform its last and final rehearsals next Friday on the main stadium of the Mohammed V stadium, which is scheduled to host the return match in Casablanca.
