Al-Ahly sends an official letter to the Football Association regarding arbitration in the new season

Today, Saturday, Al-Ahly Club sent a letter to the Egyptian Football Association, requesting the need to redouble attention and work on developing the arbitration system in general and with regard to “VAR” referees in particular.

The letter also stated that Al-Ahly club had previously sent several previous correspondences regarding the arbitration system and upgrading it to establish justice between the competing teams, but it is noted in the recent matches that the influential referees’ mistakes still cast a shadow, as the Al-Ahly team was exposed to in the last summit match, especially on the part of the “VAR” referees who have the technical tools and time to review and give each team its legitimate right.

Al-Ahly asked the Football Association to pay attention to developing and supporting the arbitration system before the start of the new football season to ensure justice and the success of football competitions at all levels.

For its part, Al-Ahly’s first football team performed its rehearsals this evening at the Touch Stadium, in preparation for the Arab Contractors match, which is scheduled for next Sunday evening in the 34th round of the Premier League championship.

Marcel Kohler, the coach of the team, held a lecture with the players before the start of the training session, to talk about the technical aspects.

The players who participated yesterday in front of Zamalek underwent hospital training to get rid of muscle fatigue, while the rest of the players performed the entire training session, which included two physical and tactical parts.

The goalkeeper coach, Michel Yancon, led the quadruple training, Ali Lotfi, Mustafa Schubert, Hamza Alaa and Mustafa Makhlouf, the goalkeeper quadruple.

Koller also held a session with his assistants, in the presence of Captain Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football, and Amr Al-Souliya continued to implement his rehabilitation program on the sidelines of the training session.

And Al-Ahly had achieved victory over Zamalek by four goals to one, in the match that was held yesterday evening at Cairo Stadium, which was postponed from the 31st round of the league championship, which the team officially crowned before playing 5 rounds.
