Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the doctor for the first football team at Al-Ahly Club, said that Percy Tau suffered a severe bruise in the anterior muscle while participating in the victory over Al-Masry Al-Port Said yesterday, 4-0, in the opening round of the Premier League competition.
Jaballah added that the player performed a physical therapy session on the sidelines of the team’s group training session that took place today, and he will undergo a medical examination tomorrow to determine the date of his regular group training.
Al-Ahly is preparing to face the Ethiopian team, St. George, in the round of 32 of the African Champions League, which is scheduled for next Sunday evening.
