Airports Holding launches media centers at Jeddah and Madinah airports

Airports Holding Company inaugurated media centers at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, with the aim of facilitating the work of local and international media, and introducing the services provided by Jeddah and Madinah airports to travelers and pilgrims throughout the Hajj season this year 1444 AH as part of the complementary and continuous work with The Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services and all relevant authorities.

The inauguration of the media centers is an extension of the work that took place during the Hajj season last year, during which the media center for King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah was launched. The work of these centers revolves around providing media support services, including daily information and figures on Hajj activities and services provided to pilgrims at Jeddah and Madinah airports. And the departure of the pilgrims inside the airport lounges, and it also works to monitor the media content published about airport activities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The media centers have also launched a virtual media center, through which the media professionals are provided with the ability to register and download media materials from various photos and videos that are updated daily.

The launch of these centers comes to strengthen the relationship between airports and the various sectors, in addition to spreading the culture of awareness and educating travelers and pilgrims of Rahman on the procedures, regulations and facilities provided to them through various media.

It is noteworthy that the Kingdom’s airports are managed by the Airports Holding Company, which manages the operation of 27 airports in Saudi Arabia through its subsidiaries (Riyadh Airports, Jeddah Airports, Dammam Airports, and the Second Airports Complex), which aims to develop the Kingdom’s airports and improve their performance to keep pace with the rapid development that the Kingdom is currently witnessing. And support the sustainable development process to achieve more development and qualitative achievements that befit the status of our dear homeland in accordance with the National Aviation Strategy emanating from the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services, as one of the outputs of Saudi Vision 2030.
