Presidential candidate Abdel-Sanad Yamama, head of the Wafd Party, proposed a number of solutions to get out of the current economic crisis.
Yamama said, during a press conference to announce his electoral program, today, Thursday, that with regard to financial and monetary policies, we must urgently take all means in agreement with global financial institutions to schedule debts for a longer period, or one loan over a long repayment period to repay all these loans. .
Yamama added that no further loans should be borrowed for any services or infrastructure projects until the economy recovers and production accelerates.
He also spoke about the necessity of targeting foreign investment with infrastructure projects and services, whatever the cost, decades of partnership, amending legislation related to investment with investors, especially foreign ones, through arbitration, increasing its positions, and governance of public spending.
He added: All private funds must be included in the general budget of the state, which is a disaster, and they are not included in the general budget, and they are dealt with if there is a surplus. He tells you how we will remove it as if it is not public money, and if there is a deficit he tells you we will withhold from the general budget. This is public money, this is the people’s money. This is all state money.
