Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed today, Monday, that he will lose the efforts of French duo Karim Benzema and Eduardo Camavinga during the confrontation at Girona stadium tomorrow, Tuesday, in the Spanish Football League.
However, Ancelotti expected the return of the French duo during the confrontation against Almeria next Saturday, before meeting Osasuna in the King’s Cup final, and then the confrontation against Manchester City in the golden square of the Champions League.
It is also expected that Austrian defender David Alaba will return during the Osasuna match on May 6.
Ancelotti said in a press conference today, Monday, “Benzema and Camavinga will be absent, as well as Dani Ceballos will be absent due to suspension. Camavinga participated in the match against Celta Vigo, but he felt some pain. I expect them to participate in the match against Almeria.”
He added, “Ferland Mendy and Alaba will not participate. Alaba is recovering well, and I do not think he will miss the King’s Cup final.”
Commenting on Benzema’s condition, Ancelotti said, “If he recovers, he will participate against Almeria.”
