Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes criticized referee Jon Moss after the defeat to Tottenham.
Fernandes was furious after United were denied a penalty after an apparent handball from Christian Romero.
He declared, “We must ask him why he did not award the penalty. Referees should start giving interviews after matches to explain their decisions.”
He pointed out: “It is a clear penalty, and there is no excuse for not seeing it, and there is no excuse for using the video assistant referee. To see it.”
He continued, “Last week they gave great importance to the fact that Wolverhampton did not have a penalty kick against us and that the referee apologized to their manager in the dressing room.”
