A report issued by the implementation sector in the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, of which Al-Anbaa obtained a copy, revealed the percentage of completion in the actual works for the contracts of the Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City buildings, which contain 60 residential buildings. %.
The “Residential” has received 40 buildings in the investment suburb of Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City, with a total of 720 apartments, in addition to its services work. According to the report, the engineering team received the works initially, while work is currently underway to examine those residential buildings and coordinate with the Ministry of Electricity and Water to connect electricity and other services before distributing them to the beneficiaries.
He pointed out that the engineering team of the project is currently following up the completion of 20 residential buildings in the project, in which the percentage of actual works exceeded 95%.
The report indicated that the total number of apartments in the two contracts amounted to 1,110 apartments, designed according to 6 different models, in which the forms of design and the total areas of the building and the apartments themselves vary.

Regarding the apartment models, the Foundation pointed out that Model 1A consists of a ground floor and 7 typical floors, on each floor there are two apartments, each containing 3 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, 4 toilets and a domestic maid’s room, indicating that this model is applied to 3 buildings out of 60 buildings, the area of each building is 1000 square meters.
As for model 1B, it consists of a ground floor and 8 recurring floors, with one apartment on each floor that includes 4 bedrooms and a room for a domestic worker, in addition to a living room, diwaniya, kitchen, and 5 bathrooms in addition to other services, while 26 buildings of this model have been implemented out of 60 residential buildings. Regarding the third model 2A, it was implemented on the area of the residential building and is based on a total area of 2000 square meters, and it consists of 6 floors in addition to the ground floor, where the floor consists of 4 apartments, distributed between two apartments that include 4 bedrooms and two apartments with 3 rooms, where this model is repeated Construction in 11 buildings. As for model 2B, it is repeated in 7 buildings on an area of 2000 square meters for each building, which contains 7 floors in addition to the ground floor, on each floor 4 apartments, while the ground floor contains services, electrical rooms, guard and water tank.
Residential complexes
The Foundation indicated that 8 buildings were implemented in the form of residential complexes, each complex on an area of 3 thousand square meters, where one floor contains 6 apartments duplicated on 6 floors in addition to the ground floor. Rooms.
A model of these complexes was also implemented, with a total of 5 buildings with an area of 3 thousand square meters, each floor 6 apartments duplicated on 7 floors in addition to the ground floor.
Noting that the apartments are of different sizes that meet all tastes and desires, pointing out that the areas of the apartments range from 187 square meters for the smallest area of the apartments, and up to 294 square meters for the largest area of the apartments.
